Corrected and discussed questions related to Social Change in the nations of India and Russia
Further information was given on social change in the areas of racism, women, children and Indigenous peoples. Information on one of these topics should be reviewed carefully as it will be a test question.

JEOPARDY! We reviewed "To Kill a Mockingbird" using the game JEOPARDY!
Congratulations to the team of Alyssa, Devin G, Josh and Tanya who came out victorious.
Period Four -- English 9
We started watching "The Outsiders" A little disappointed in the number of students who were unable to hand in Remembrance Day Writing on time.
Period Five -- English 10
After some silent reading, time was given to work on assignments that are coming due shortly.
Period Six -- English 20
Tables were turned and students quizzed me on "To Kill a Mockinbird". Embarrased to say they humbled me.
Period Seven -- Social Studies 10
Current Events discussion. -- Obama's victory the big story.
An assignment was given using the following criteria:
1) Think of an example of a conflict -- options include same sex marriage, abortion, capital punishment, school uniforms, etc
2) Create a chare which points out the arguments that may be made by people on both sides of the argument
3) Identify the sources of power each side of the argument has. How might they use this power to their advantage?
4) Who will win this argument in the end? Why do you think this way?
5) Will the outcome be done in a way that all parties have their rights taken care of? Explain.

- Originally from Weyburn, SK, I was born with a passion for sports. Unfortunately a lack of talent has lead me to make a fantastic career choice, that being teaching History and English which I currently do at Norquay School in Norquay, SK. I am married to a wonderful woman, Breanna, who not only allows me to watch sports on a seemingly endless basis, but she has even started to take a general interest in most major sports. While her preference for teams leaves a little to be desired, I still think its pretty awesome that I can spend Sunday afternoons watching NFL football WITH my wife! We are also fortunate to have two fantastic children, Kylie, born in December of 2009 and Kruze, born in August of 2011.
