Period One -- ELA 20
We continued working on our persuasive writing piece. Very few, if any, cases will be given after today. It is due on Monday, December 15th.
Period Three -- ELA 10
Assignments for the short story "Test" were collected. After that, the poem "The Road not Taken" by Robert Frost was read and discussed. An assignment was given in which you are to determine which path you would choose to take and explain why. You are also to speak to how that path may or may not make you a better person. Period Four & Five -- ELA 9
Assignment was given out of Crossroads. Students were to read "G. Trueheart: Man's Best Friend" and complete questions 1, abcd, and 2. This is due tomorrow. We also corrected Lessons 31, 32 & 33 of Language Power. Homework: G. Trueheart: Man's Best Friend
Period Six -- ELA 20
Some assignments were returned....Collage and Similarities and Differences between "Shinny Game Melted the Ice" and "I Lost my Talk". Discussion of class divisions within High School was had. Following this, they read the essay "Memoirs of a Non - Prom Queen". Once read, further discussion on the topic of how we will be remembered was had. Homework: None
Period Seven -- Social 20
Current Events discussion brought up nothing relevant. Discussion of the factors effecting fertility and death rates was had. Notes were then taken on changes in human behavior regarding fertility rates, and the reasons for these changes. Homework: None
Congratulations to the Sr. Girls basketball team on their 3rd place finish in Central Butte this weekend.
