Friday, October 8th -- Day Five

Period One: ELA 9
After some silent reading, students were given the remaider of the period to work on their "I Am....." poems. These are to be completed and handed in Tuesday.

Period Two/Three: ELA 20

Do you believe you would have similar issues with success? Explain.

Period Four: History 30
While students finished an assignment on The Constitutional Act, we started to watch Episode #5 of Canada: A People's History entitled "A Question of Loyalites" which talks about the American Revolution and the Loyalists. The assignment is due for next class.

Period Five: Math 7
As a group we corrected P. 27/28. Students were then assigned the Mid - Unit Review on P. 29. This is due for Wednesday.

Period Six: ELA 10
After some silent reading we looked at two writing pieces to determine where a new paragraph should be started. This was a follow up to a previous assignment in which the proper use of paragraphs was not evident. We then went to the library to work on our research assignments. No date is set for this assignment as of yet.

Period Seven: Math 7
The students were given the period to work on Mid - Unit Review on P. 29.
